Day 1 Dambulla

Dambulla is famous for its historic cave temple complex, known as the Dambulla Cave Temple or the Golden Temple of Dambulla. This UNESCO World Heritage Site features five caves converted into shrine rooms, housing over 150 Buddha statues and ancient murals dating back to the 1st century BC.

The centrepiece is a colossal golden Buddha statue standing at 15 meters tall. The site offers panoramic views, ancient rock paintings, a museum, and a cultural experience amidst lush surroundings, making it a must-visit destination in Sri Lanka.

  • Arrive at Colombo International Airport. Here, you will be met by an airport representative and a designated guide from Victoria Tours Sri Lanka.

  • Proceed to Dambulla 129km (Approx. 2hr 42min)

  • Enroute, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage: Bathing time: 10.15.a.m-11.45.a.m || 2.15.p.m-3.45.p.m Feeding time: 09.30.a.m onwards

  • Later, visit Dambulla cave temple

Day 2 Kandy

Kandy, nestled amidst lush hills, is famed for its Temple of the Tooth, which holds a sacred relic of Buddha's tooth.
